Language of Coffee is a family-owned coffee roastery based in Rochester, New York, built on the belief that coffee is more than a product....... it’s a shared language. 

A language spoken in early mornings, long conversations, creative work, and everyday rituals. Our goal is simple: roast exceptional coffee that brings people together and fits naturally into real life.

At our core, we’re builders of flavors, of relationships, and of community. Coffee is how we connect, but people are always the point. Welcome to the conversation.

We focus on thoughtful sourcing and precise roasting, working with trusted importers and producers to highlight the natural character of each coffee. Whether it’s a clean, approachable single origin or a balanced blend designed for daily drinking, every roast is developed with intention, consistency, and respect for the process. We believe great coffee doesn’t need to be complicated it just needs to be done well.

Language of Coffee was created to support both home brewers and coffee professionals. In addition to our retail offerings, we partner with cafés, restaurants, offices, and brands through our wholesale and private-label programs. We also offer free barista training and education through our coffee lab, because sharing knowledge is just as important as sharing coffee.
